Color

• Color mixing: All colors are individually mixed by hand, making them exclusive. Slight variations from color samples may occur and are considered part of the unique character of each object.

• Darker colors: Objects in darker shades are more prone to attracting dust and dirt than lighter ones. These require extra attention in terms of cleaning and care.

Liability & Environmental Exposure

• UV protection: The studio is not responsible for discoloration of rubber caused by exposure to sunlight. Both natural and synthetic rubber are sensitive to UV rays, which can lead to fading or cracking over time.

  • Avoid direct sunlight: Do not place or hang rubber objects in direct sunlight. This will minimize UV exposure and help preserve their appearance and structural integrity.

• Natural aging: Like wood or skin, rubber is a natural material that changes over time when exposed to light and environmental factors. This process is considered a natural and often aesthetically pleasing aspect of the material.

Pets

The studio is not liable for any damage to rubber objects caused by pets. It is the owner’s responsibility to protect rubber pieces from potential damage caused by the claws of dogs or cats.

Maintenance Tips

Proper maintenance is essential to keep rubber objects in their best condition:

• Cleaning: Use water and, if needed, a mild dishwashing soap. Avoid aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as they can damage the rubber.

• Vacuuming: Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to gently remove dust and dirt.

• Talcum powder: Rubber surfaces can be treated with talcum powder to retain softness. Each object comes with a small supply of talcum powder, which can be applied using a soft brush.

Transport and Storage

Rubber is a breathable material and needs access to oxygen. To ensure your object arrives and remains in good condition, please follow these transport and storage guidelines:

• Breathable cover: Objects are shipped in a soft, breathable cotton cover that allows air to circulate during transit.

• Do not seal for long periods: Avoid storing the objects in closed crates or boxes for extended periods. If stored in a crate, leave the lid off or ajar to allow airflow.

• Fresh scent: New rubber pieces may have a fresh scent upon arrival. This natural smell will fade over time.

Durability Disclaimer

Rubber is an evolving material. While we use high-quality components and careful production methods, we cannot guarantee a specific lifespan for the rubber objects. Their longevity depends on factors such as use, environmental conditions, exposure to sunlight, and care. We encourage mindful handling and proper maintenance to extend their aesthetic and functional life as much as possible.

Onze rubberen objecten worden met zorg en aandacht vervaardigd in de studio. Elk object is een combinatie van hoogwaardige materialen en ambachtelijke productie:

• Samenstelling: Gemaakt van siliconenrubber in combinatie met PU-zachtschuim en versterkt met een houten frame. Deze samenstelling biedt zowel comfort als duurzaamheid.

• Versteviging: Een speciale stoflaag wordt toegevoegd om de vorm en sterkte te waarborgen en vervorming over tijd te voorkomen.

Kwaliteitscontrole & Exclusiviteit

• Handgemaakt in het atelier: Elk object wordt individueel met de hand vervaardigd, wat zorgt voor uitzonderlijke kwaliteit en oog voor detail.

• Betrouwbare leveranciers: We werken uitsluitend met partners die onze hoge kwaliteitsnormen delen.

• Exclusieve productie: De handmatige werkwijze garandeert de uniciteit van elk object – geen twee zijn exact gelijk.

Kleuren

• Handgemengde kleuren: Alle kleuren worden met de hand gemengd, waardoor elk object een uniek kleurkarakter heeft. Kleine kleurverschillen ten opzichte van kleursamples zijn mogelijk.

• Donkere kleuren: Donkere tinten zijn gevoeliger voor het aantrekken van vuil. We adviseren om deze met extra zorg te behandelen en regelmatig te reinigen.

Aansprakelijkheid & Omgevingsinvloeden

• UV-straling: Rubber is gevoelig voor zonlicht en kan na verloop van tijd verkleuren of uitdrogen. De studio is niet aansprakelijk voor schade of verkleuring veroorzaakt door UV-straling.

  • Advies: Vermijd langdurige blootstelling aan direct zonlicht om scheurtjes en verkleuring tegen te gaan.

• Natuurlijk verouderingsproces: Rubber is, net als hout of leer, een natuurlijk materiaal dat onder invloed van licht en omgeving subtiel kan veranderen – dit draagt bij aan het karakter van het object.

• Huisdieren: De studio is niet verantwoordelijk voor schade veroorzaakt door huisdieren. Let op met scherpe nagels van honden en katten.

Onderhoudsinstructies

Om de kwaliteit en uitstraling van je rubberen object te behouden, raden we de volgende verzorging aan:

• Schoonmaken: Gebruik water en indien nodig een mild afwasmiddel. Vermijd agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen.

• Stof verwijderen: Gebruik een zachte borstelmond op de stofzuiger.

• Talkpoeder: Om het rubber zacht te houden, kan talkpoeder worden aangebracht met een zachte kwast. Een startvoorraad wordt bij elk object meegeleverd.

Transport & Opslag

Rubber is een ademend materiaal en heeft luchtcirculatie nodig om in goede staat te blijven:

• Ademende hoes: Elk object wordt geleverd in een katoenen hoes die lucht doorlaat.

• Luchtcirculatie: Laat bij opslag in een krat of kist de deksel iets open zodat zuurstof bij het object kan komen.

• Verse geur: Nieuwe objecten kunnen een karakteristieke rubbergeur hebben. Deze geur verdwijnt vanzelf na verloop van tijd.

Rubber is een veranderlijk materiaal. Ondanks het gebruik van hoogwaardige materialen en zorgvuldige productiemethoden, kan de studio geen garantie geven over de exacte levensduur van de rubberen objecten. De duurzaamheid is afhankelijk van factoren zoals gebruik, omgevingsinvloeden, blootstelling aan zonlicht en onderhoud. We raden aan om de objecten met zorg te behandelen en goed te onderhouden om hun esthetische en functionele kwaliteit zo lang mogelijk te behouden.
